10/13/26 Office Update

Hi everyone. Things are going well. Healing is good and while pain isn't zero, its absolutely improving. Still a good amount of limitations/restrictions, but all things considered I'm doing better and look/feel less like death than I did the last time many of you saw me.

As for the office, I was able to confirm two great offices that are willing to work in some of my patients while I am out. Please be patient with them scheduling wise as they are doing me a huge favor for the next month or so. Its another case of people just being amazing and going out of their way for people in need. If there's anything I've had confirmed in the past month, its that there are far so many caring, kind and generous people out there. Their office info is below. I am still looking to add one or two more Doctors to this list and will update here if I'm able to.

Dr Bryan D'Aoust, Utica Chiropractic, (315) 732-0212

Dr Kristen Howard, Spinal Care Center (Rome), (315) 337-0300

--------------------------------------------------------

Got discharged from the hospital late last week and have been home resting and healing for a bit. Theres a pretty long road ahead, but its safe to say that each day is a little bit better than the one before, which is all we can hope for. Once again, I want to thank everyone for all the well wishes that positive thoughts that have been sent our way. I don't have to words to accurately express our gratitude.

As for the office....now that I'm home with LOTS of free time and a brain free of heavy pain meds, I can really start to lock this down for everyone. Theres basically 2 options that I need to look into. First is just having other local chiropractors and/or physical therapists agree to take on some of my patients until I'm able to return. Second option is to have chiro coverage that can come into our workspace 2-3 days a week to do treatments for those that need it. Second option is ideal, but obviously more challenging to set up. Its not as easy as one would think; there are business/legal ramifications depending on which way we go. I plan on having some conversations with my accountant and business lawyer this week to see the best way to do this. One thing I can guarantee though is that I'll be open and honest here for any decisions that are made. The practice is only around because of your trust in me so transparency in this is the very least I can do for all of you.

Again, thank you for all of your understanding as we try to traverse this really, really odd and unexpected challenge.

Hi everyone. So cats out of the bag. Due to the illness that I was suffering from (turns out it was a blood infection that settled in my heart) I needed to have open heart surgery this past Friday. Everything went well and doctors are all happy. It's going be a lengthy recovery though. I'm still in the hospital for a few more days at least, but as soon as I'm out I'm going to start working on coverage for the office. Again, once things are set all of that info will be shared here.
I want to thank everyone for all the well wishes over the past few weeks. You've all been remarkably generous.

Hi all, its Dr Williams. As many know, I've been dealing with some health issues for a bit. Thankfully it looks like we have it figured out. Unfortunately, its going to take me away from the office for bit. Still not sure on the exact timeframe, but will have details on that ASAP. I'm currently typing this from  the hospital, where I've been since last week. Right now things are stable, but we're looking at next steps.

The office will be closed through next week, with updates to follow. Once I have my own health plan worked out I will start to work on getting back, or setting up office coverage if that's what it comes to. I promise to not leave you hanging if I can help it. As always, I thank you guys for your understanding.
